Seçim çalışmaları kapsamında halk buluşmalarına hız veren Cumhur İttifakı Toroslar Belediye Başkan Adayı Dr. Ali Öz, Turgut Türkalp ve Tozkoparan mahallelerinde vatandaşlarla bir araya geldi. Ziyarete MHP Mersin Milletvekili Levent Uysal, Cumhur İttifakı Mersin Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Serdar Soydan, Ülkü Ocakları Mersin İl Başkanı Emre Celal Gül, AK Parti Toroslar İlçe Başkanı Ferdi Çokkeser, MHP Toroslar İlçe Başkanı Osman Mete Yıldız ve önceki dönem Toroslar Belediye Başkanı Hamit Tuna da eşlik etti. Vatandaşların yoğun ilgi gösterdiği buluşmada Öz’e çocuklar büyük sevgi gösterisinde bulundu. Çocuklar, “Mahallemize hoş geldin Ali dede” pankartıyla karşıladıkları Öz’e çiçek takdim etti.

İlk olarak Turgut Türkalp Mahallesinde vatandaşlarla bir araya gelen Öz, vatandaşın taleplerini dinleyerek tek tek not aldı. Öz, burada yaptığı konuşmada, “Gerçekleştirdiğimiz her ziyarette öncelikle vatandaşlarımızın taleplerini dinliyorum. Mahallelerinde ne görmek istiyorlar onu soruyorum. Sonrasında ise sizlerin teveccühü ile seçildiğimiz takdirde hayata geçireceğimiz projeleri anlatıyorum. Dersimize iyi çalıştık. Toroslar’da eksiklikleri biliyoruz. Daha sonra Tozkoparan Mahallesinde gerçekleşen halk buluşmasında vatandaşlarla bir araya gelen Öz, yoğun katılım gösterdiklerinden dolayı mahalle sakinlerine teşekkür etti. Kadınların yoğun ilgi gösterdiği toplantıda Öz, kadınlara yönelik çok önemli projeleri olduğunu belirtti. Öz, “Maddi durumu elvermediği için geleceğimizin teminatı olan çocuklarını kreşe gönderemeyen ailelerimize destek olmak amacıyla belediye kreşlerimizi yaygınlaştıracağız. Açacağımız belediye kreşlerinde hem çocuğunu kreşe göndermek isteyen ailelere destek olacağız hem de çocuklarımızın güvenli bir ortamda eğitim almalarını sağlayacağız. İçerisinde spor alanlarının da olduğu kreşler hem konforlu hem de son teknolojiyle donatılmış olacak” şeklinde konuştu.
